A performance from the Deon Powter Band (DPB) covers much ground. Flowing from his fingers, blues infused lead lines, and Hendrix inspired rhythm, songs that cruise through genres without apology or effort, songwriting both fresh and familiar, themes of human connection to each other and the planet. It’s almost as if the band are saying “Here it is!” to all the cries of “Where has the real music gone?”
