A Musical Journey
Deon began his musical journey at a young age in his hometown of Parkes NSW Australia.
By the time he was 16 he had left for Sydney and was playing bass in a touring band with his brother in an oversized milk truck called Clyde, performing their way across Australia.
A couple of decades later Deon's musical journey took a twist as he traded the bottom end for a six string and began gigging in and around Brisbane with his good friend Charles Eddy on drums.
Deon is now one of Brisbane's most well know and successful cover artists, but his passion lies in the stories he tells through his original music.
Deon plays blues based retro pop, hitting on rock, funk, country, folk and more.
Deon is committed to connecting with his audience. His songs are love letters to the soul: stories of love for the self, for the planet and each other.
